After years of construction, the long-awaited luxury superyacht Evrima, the first of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection chain, sailed from Barcelona sailing the waters of the Mediterranean to Nice in mid-October. The superyacht is more than 200 meters long and offers about 150 suites to accommodate 300 passengers including design, luxury, personalized treatment or restaurant with a three-star Michelin chef. Yes, all this from 4,500 euros a week of cruise.

The inauguration of the boat has been delayed for several years due to the pandemic and the logistical problems that have had it stopped in several Spanish shipyards. Despite all the drawbacks, her launch was one of the most anticipated in this small world of superluxury yachts. In fact, according to the company, most bookings are made by people who had not travelled on a cruise before.
It has a modern, sophisticated and very elegant design, luxury materials, plenty of space in the lounge, personalized service and a restaurant with menus designed by a three-star Michelin chef. Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is the cruise company co-managed by Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company (owned by Marriott International) and Prothero’s Yacht.
Guests can stay in 149 suites with ceilings higher than the cruise standard, with king-size beds, bathrooms with double vanity and private outdoor terraces with sea views. For almost 300 passengers, it has more space per passenger than any other luxury cruise.
In addition, you can enjoy the views from the infinity pool or while you are relaxed on a sun lounger. On the sports dock there are rowing and windsurfing boards, kayaks, sailboats and snorkel equipment. There are four dive pools scattered around Evrima, offering more intimate opportunities to take a dip with views of the depths.
During its first year, Evrima will sail the Mediterranean and the Caribbean on itineraries of 7-10 nights, with stops at the main access points such as Barcelona, Ibiza, St. Tropez, Bequia and St. Barts.
Evrima will not be the only ship in the chain, and two new cruise ships have already been ordered and are expected to be ready between 2024 and 2025. Four Seasons has also launched into super-luxury yachts, and has already announced that it will build three 190-passenger boats along with several investors.
